#9 Coke Oven Improvements
Installation of the new Individualized Oven Pressure Control system was completed in November 2011.
This $20 million technological retrofit is the first installation of its kind in North America and is conservatively estimated to achieve a 70% reduction in coke oven emissions from No. 9 battery.
