EAF Update: Our Two 570 Ton Cranes Have Arrived

Our two 570 ton Danieli Group cranes were transported onto our Electric Arc Furnace (EAF) Steelmaking construction site to be prepared for installation

Last week, our two 570 ton Danieli Group cranes were transported onto our Electric Arc Furnace (EAF) Steelmaking construction site to be prepared for installation.

Piece by piece, these cranes traveled all the way from Danieli’s facility in Thailand. Some are up to 110 ft long!

During the construction, the cranes will support the installation of equipment for the EAF. Once the EAF is commissioned, the cranes will move scrap that will charge in the furnaces and later be refined.

Watch the video to follow our journey towards Electric Arc Furnace steelmaking.
